Tributes paid to long-term retailer

The family of James de Lisle recently announced his death.

The proprietor of Keyprice worked in the retail sector for more than 40 years, running his shop at Les Petites Capelles and later L’ancresse.

At one time Mr de Lisle was a prominent campaigner for Sunday trading laws to be relaxed.

Towards the end of his career, Mr de Lisle’s daughter took over the running of Keyprice, before the business was sold to ‘Sprinkle of Magic’.

Mr de Lisle’s funeral was held on Wednesday 13th May at St Peter’s Church.
