We have launched our Q2 retail industry survey – and we need every retailer’s voice to be heard.
This survey plays a vital role in helping us build an accurate picture of the challenges, opportunities and outlook across Guernsey’s retail sector. The more businesses that participate, the stronger and more representative our collective voice becomes.
With ongoing constructive discussions taking place between the retail industry and Government, it is essential that we are equipped with robust, up-to-date evidence on the issues that matter most to local retailers. In particular, the survey will help us better understand industry sentiment and the potential impacts that the introduction of GST could have on businesses, consumers and the wider economy.
The results will directly inform the Guernsey Retail Group’s engagement with policymakers and ensure that the concerns, experiences and priorities of local retailers are accurately represented. Whether you are a large retailer, an independent business or somewhere in between, your input is invaluable.
Confidentiality is paramount.
All survey responses will be treated in the strictest confidence and no individual business, respondent or identifiable data will be disclosed to any third party. Results will be aggregated, anonymised and analysed at a sector level only, ensuring that the findings provide a broad and accurate picture of the retail industry without revealing commercially sensitive information. This approach enables retailers to share their views openly and honestly, while giving the Guernsey Retail Group the robust evidence needed to represent the sector effectively in discussions with Government and other stakeholders.
The survey only takes a few minutes to complete, but the insights it provides are instrumental in shaping the industry’s response to key policy developments and future challenges.
