20 May Leale’s Yard could be demolished soon

A planning application has been submitted to demolish the buildings at Leale’s Yard and to clear the site for future development.
If approved, the clearance and demolition work should pave the way for the development work to begin.
Bailiwick Express reports that the planning application includes putting in a new entrance for construction vehicles, adding a new pedestrian crossing, and moving a bus stop from the Vale side of the Bridge to New Road.
Managing Director of Ray & Scott, Martin Search told the Guernsey Press that he is happy with the plans and that we may finally see progress with wider aspirations to redevelop Leale’s Yard.
