The Guernsey Employment Trust is hosting a free online webinar to help employers find talented staff.
GET supports disabled and disadvantaged people and employers, to help people prepare for, find, and maintain work.
It says the session on Thursday 8 October is designed to get employers thinking differently about where your next great employee might come from.
The session will explore:
Inclusive recruitment: simple changes to job adverts, applications and interviews that can help employers attract a wider pool of candidates.
Neurodivergent talent: the strengths neurodivergent employees can bring to an organisation, and how recruitment processes can inadvertently create barriers.
What works in practice: real examples of inclusive employment, including a local case study demonstrating how the right approach can benefit both an employee and their employer.
Our support to employers: detailing the level of support that GET can provide to employers and clients of GET who are recruited into a role with a Guernsey business.
GET says you will leave the seminar with practical ideas that you can take back to your organisation and start using straight away.
