We’re encouraging retailers to complete our Q2 retail industry survey this summer.
With ongoing constructive discussions taking place between the retail industry and Government, it is essential that we are equipped with robust, up-to-date evidence on the issues that matter most to local retailers.
The survey will play a vital role in helping us build an accurate picture of the challenges, opportunities and outlook across Guernsey’s retail sector as those conversations continue.
In particular, it will also help us better understand industry sentiment and the potential impacts that the introduction of GST could have on businesses, consumers and the wider economy.
The more businesses that participate, the stronger and more representative our collective voice becomes.
Confidentiality is paramount.
All survey responses will be treated in the strictest confidence and no individual business, respondent or identifiable data will be disclosed to any third party. Results will be aggregated, anonymised and analysed at a sector level only, ensuring that the findings provide a broad and accurate picture of the retail industry without revealing commercially sensitive information. This approach enables retailers to share their views openly and honestly, while giving the Guernsey Retail Group the robust evidence needed to represent the sector effectively in discussions with Government and other stakeholders.
The survey only takes a few minutes to complete, but the insights it provides are instrumental in shaping the industry’s response to key policy developments and future challenges.
